Christmas has come early at Greensborough Plaza!

Festive trimmings and twinkly lights – a magical Christmas returns to Greensborough Plaza. Visit greensboroughplaza.com.au for details about each day’s scheduled activity.

Free events include: 

Santa arrival weekend – Saturday, November 19, 10am
Children can walk with Santa, Mrs Claus, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman in the official arrival parade. The colourful, joyful and musical Christmas parade will also feature other favourite children’s characters Elmo and the Cookie Monster, and will weave through the shopping centre, starting from the Main Street entrance on Level 3 travelling throughout the mall to Centre Court, located on Level 1, near Chemist Warehouse.

Christmas-themed Children’s activities – Saturday, November 19, and Sunday, November 20
The fun continues for children after Santa’s arrival parade with face painting, balloon modelling and other entertainment. Activities will be located on Level 2, outside Toyworld, and Level 3, near Target.

Christmas-themed Children’s craft – Weekends from Saturday, November 19, to Sunday, December 18, from 11am to 3pm

Children can take part in free craft activities at the Christmas Gingerbread House on Level 3, near Target, to help them get into the Christmas spirit. Each day will have a different activity for children to participate in, such as creating their own Christmas snow globe, bauble and Santa’s Helper Christmas apron, or colouring in a Christmas stocking and elf mask.

1. Warrandyte Community Carols

Come and celebrate Christmas with the Warrandyte community by singing carols together and enjoying the positive atmosphere at Warrandyte Community Carols! 

Listen to the performances of local singers and musicians who are spreadig some holiday cheer! Don’t forget to bring a picnic or buy some food and drinks from the food trucks on site.

2. Festive Florals – Christmas windows along Chute Street, Diamond Creek

Have a lovely relaxing day out by heading to Chute Street, Diamond Creek to see the area decorated with festive florals and visit the local businesses while you're there.

Decorations will be up from 12 November until after Christmas, so visit anytime within these dates to enjoy the festive window artworks.

Also, make a game out of it by with the kids by trying to see who can spot the most birds hiding in each of the festive floral designs!

12. Plenty of family fun at Christmas in the Plaza

On Friday, 14 December, Christmas in the Plaza will transform the Broadmeadows Civic Plaza into a free, family-friendly, fun-filled, festive extravaganza.  

Entertainment includes face painting, Christmas crafts, a jumping castle and children’s activities paired with live music and roving entertainment. Santa and his helpers will also be available for photos and to listen to Christmas wish lists throughout the evening.

13. Westfield Christmas Craft Activities

18. Stonnington Christmas Concerts

Looking for some festive fun this Christmas? The City of Stonnington has got you covered with a series of free Christmas concerts to celebrate the holiday season. 

Musical director Casey Bennetto will be leading each Christmas concert with a spectacular line-up of festive music, including some of Australia's finest vocalists, the stunning South of the River Choir, and a special visit from Santa!

Finish off the night by watching their Pyrotechnics display that is set to classical music.

There will also be roving entertainment and food trucks, and the events will raise funds for the Mayor's chosen charity.
