Become a Tot Hot or Not Ambassador
As Tot Hot or Not grows, we’re looking for ambassadors across Melbourne to join us.
We want families who love getting out and about — discovering hidden gems, testing kid-friendly experiences, and sharing honest tips with other parents and carers.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Love creating engaging content
- Are organised and reliable
- Enjoy storytelling and writing in a fun, relatable way
- Feel comfortable on social media
- Are happy talking on camera and filming reels or stories
- Love exploring Melbourne and Victoria with your family
- Are happy including yourself and your family in your content
Bonus skills
None of these are required, but they help your application stand out:
- A good eye for photography or short-form video
- Experience shooting indoors and outdoors, including photographing kids
- A DSLR, or a recent iPhone/Android suitable for content creation
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom
- Confidence using Dropbox
- Completed (or completing) a photography course

What’s in it for you
Our ambassadors get to experience family-friendly venues, events, activities and destinations across Melbourne and Victoria, in exchange for creating content and sharing their honest experience with the Tot community.
Opportunities can include:
- Gifted experiences and hosted visits
- Invitations to launches, events, premieres and family experiences
- Ad hoc paid collaborations
- Reimbursement for approved expenses
There’s also room to take on ongoing work and join the Tot team as a contractor.

- Is happy including themselves and their family members in their content
