Celebrate Christmas in Docklands with Santa’s Village

Santa’s Village in Docklands is a fun and festive destination for families to enjoy during the holiday season.

Located in the heart of The District Docklands, this seasonal experience brings the magic of Christmas to life with interactive activities and a selection of festive treats.

Details of Santa’s Village Melbourne

The entrance has a huge WOW factor, with glittery backdrops filled with holiday decor and sparkly lights. Take your pick from one of the many festive photo opps!  You’ll also be handed a small goody bag with colouring-in sheets, lollies and a small eraser.

For those looking to indulge their sweet the next room is going to be your favourite! Everyone receives a choc chip cookie and the kids get a choice of a juice box while adults can enjoy a sweet cocktail or mocktail (I didn’t get the details of the ingredients, but it was delicious!)

You then enter the main room (and you can’t backtrack into the entrance or bar), which is the Potion Putt mini golf experience dressed up with festive decorations. It makes for a laughable juxtaposition at times, like a gravestone with a Santa hat perched jauntily on top!

In the main room, there are 8 holes of mini golf, two curling lanes, colouring stations, biscuit decorating and craft activities and a Santa photo setup – there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Note that each of the activities attracts a separate fee, so I recommend just going with the all-inclusive pass to avoid arguments and decision-making!

As my kids are a bit older they most enjoyed the putt putt golf and the curling (which we’ve never done before, only ever seen on TV!).

Having said that I was surprised by how engaged they were with the cookie decorating and snowglobe-making activity. The roaming elves are super friendly and happy to help with activities or just to have a chat.

The kids declined to take a photo with Santa, so I got a Santa photo instead!

With a focus on providing guests with a fun Christmas experience, Santa’s Village has something for all ages, from young children to adults. Each session is 90 minutes and we think that’s just the right amount of time to experience everything. The space is wheelchair accessible and given it’s quite small, there are no huge crowds that you’ll need to contend with.

How to access Santa's Village
