1. The Big Design Market

Australia's favourite Christmas shopping extravaganza is back after a three-year hiatus and it’s bringing an array of the best shopping goodies and sumptuous snacks!

The Big Design Market will take place at the Royal Exhibition Building and will feature 270 of Australia's top designers, fun activities for kids such as a jungle gym from Funky Monkey Bars and much more.

Plus, If you need a break from shopping, the event will have many iconic Melbourne shops where you can sit back, snack and refresh yourself with an ice-cold drink

2. Good Food and Wine Show Christmas Market

The Good Food and Wine Show Christmas Market is the perfect place to find everything you need for a festive celebration. With great entertainment, inspiring food and drink demonstrations, delicious treats and cocktails and a range of beautiful products for gifting and styling, it's the perfect one-stop-shop for an unforgettable Christmas experience.

The event is set to take place at the Royal Exhibition Building on 25 – 27 November 2022 and will be composed of 100+ small producers offering lots of festive inspiration.

Melbourne's favourite rock ‘n’ rollers are coming to Cardinia Cultural Centre to spread some holiday cheer. From Elvis to Christmas classics, the ‘Rockin Daddy's’ will send Sip and See 2022 out with a bang!

See the Lakeview Room turned into a winter wonderland and enjoy morning Christmas tea with friends, complete with Sip and See raffle prizes. Then get up and dance the hours away to some great music!

6. Santa Special Train Rides

Mornington Railway is welcoming back Santa for another year to meet with all the excited children and bring in loads of holiday cheer! The station area and train are set to have lots of festive decorations to get everyone into the holiday spirit, and there will also be plenty of other activities to keep families entertained during the visit.

Departures Dates are 10 – 11 and 17 – 18 of December and have a timetable of 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm & 3:00 pm. Tickets are selling out, so book yours now to avoid missing out.

Melbourne’s Christmas Wonderland is a festive walk-through experience that features all the best parts of Christmas in one fantastic event!

14. Community Christmas Concert

A one-night-only event featuring talented artists, musicians and students from across the region. The event will also highlight good news stories of respect, dignity, hope and opportunity in Melbourne's marginalised community of people at risk of homelessness.

By attending the Community Christmas Concert you'll be supporting Servants Community Housing – a local non-profit housing organisation that’s changing the way we understand housing by providing safe, affordable housing for people on low incomes and crafting intentional communities where every individual is seen, known and loved.

Profits raised will go to supporting those at risk of homelessness this Christmas.
