Staying in the 2-bedroom Jimbaran Bay View Suite at RIMBA Jimbaran Resort is something truly special. With comfortable interconnecting rooms, sleeping 2 adults and 2 children, we highly recommend this for families looking to indulge in the luxurious surroundings of Bali. We book a cot and it fits comfortably in the room with split single beds.
Our balcony overlooks swaying palm trees, glistening blue pools, and the peaceful curve of Jimbaran Bay in the distance—it feels like something out of a postcard.

When it comes to activities, AYANA resort doesn’t disappoint.
Once we’ve checked in, it’s clear—this place is packed with things to do. Waterslides? Tick. Jungle trails? Tick. A whole monkey forest? Yep, that too!
Among the included resort activities are three water slides, a private beach, jungle trails, three gyms, and yes, 14 swimming pools to choose from!
For resort guests, there’s also free access to Saka Museum, AYANA Farm, and the stunning private Kubu Beach. The Saka Museum showcases Balinese art and culture, with fascinating exhibits on local history, and religious practices.
RIMBA by AYANA Facilities
At AYANA Farm, we explore the lush organic gardens, and learn about sustainable farming practices.
For an additional cost, guests may choose to visit the luxurious AYANA Spa, perfect for relaxation with its extensive menu of treatments. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a round at the 18-hole minigolf course, suitable for all ages.
For a hands-on experience, AYANA farm also offers fun workshops such as traditional herbal remedies and cocktail/mocktail making, where guests can learn to create their own refreshing drinks using fresh, local ingredients.
Hot tip for parents: download the AYANA App as soon as you arrive. You can check the resort map, book your workshops, order transport—and even live chat the front desk if you need something (like when we run out of nappies).
RIMBA by AYANA Pools
While some pools are for adults only, there are plenty of others, and we fall in love with the ambiance of the various resort pools, each offering a mix of relaxation and recreation.
AYANA Resort Bali features two kids pools (one conveniently located at RIMBA!) both of which have Kids Clubs located nearby.
The kids’ pool at RIMBA is a hit with our crew—especially the slide! There’s even a supervisor stationed there, which gives us that extra bit of peace of mind.
The Lower Pool is the largest swimming pool at RIMBA and also features a swim-up Pool Bar and a relaxing whirlpool.
Tucked into the greenery near AYANA’s Kids Club pavilion, the other children’s swimming pool features two fun water slides! The small playground doesn’t disappoint, either.
It’s a comfortable and secure space, meaning that your little ones can explore, learn, and play in a safe and welcoming environment, while you soak up the sun and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
AYANA Kids Clubs
AYANA Resort Bali has two fantastic Kids Clubs, one located at RIMBA and the other at the main AYANA Resort, both designed to keep children entertained and engaged throughout their stay.
The Kids Club at RIMBA offers a spacious soft play area with a slide, games, arts and crafts, and fun activities tailored for younger guests, ensuring plenty of creative and interactive play.
Over at the AYANA Kids Club, children can enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including a shaded playground and engaging educational programs. Both Kids Clubs are conveniently located near the resort’s pools, allowing parents to relax nearby while their little ones enjoy a safe and fun-filled environment.
AYANA Guidepost Montessori – An Adventure Camp for Kids
Nurture your child’s potential with the Guidepost Montessori program at AYANA Resort, a paradise for young minds to flourish and grow. Designed to ignite a love for learning and exploration, this innovative program combines Montessori principles with the beauty of Bali’s natural surroundings.
I am very impressed with the professionalism of the educators, the communication and set up of this educational holiday camp.
The program is all about play-based learning and letting kids explore at their own pace—it’s fun, creative, and thoughtfully run.

- Highly recommend trying the indonesian food! Damar Restaurant was great for this, and offered milder options on the kids menu;
- For fussy eaters, each of the restaurants provide a kids menu with western options such as chicken nuggets or pizza;
- Kampeong Bali is an absolute must – this incredible performance and dining experience was one of our family highlights!
- Saka Museum is also free for guests and provides a wonderful tie in with the cultural experience offered at Kampeong Bali;
- Free shuttle trams run every 10 minutes taking guests between resorts and other areas of the AYANA estate (seating around 25 people); and
- Getting to the resort: airport transfers are available to book through AYANA – remember to request in advance a child car seat if it’s needed.
