  • BK Gym & Swim (Mon 3 Apr – Fri 21 Apr) – Enjoy gymnastics-based activities and games, gymnastics training, or an action packed Ninja Day!
  • PGL Holiday camps (Tue 11 Apr – Thu 13 Apr) – the perfect way for your 8-14 year old to have fun, make new friends and learn new skills during their school holidays! With experienced Activity Instructors and Group Leaders, awesome adventure activities, healthy meals and accommodation provided, your kids will never want to leave!
  • La Mama Kids: The Comedy Games with Coach Mon (Thu 6 Apr – Sat 18 Apr) – Skate on over to this whacky show filled with fun, music, audience participation and a dash of craft. You’ll walk away with a smile on your dial and a custom made medal to celebrate our success!

  • Carlton Street Eats (Thursdays until 25 May) – Bring a picnic rug and enjoy the expansive lawn area while you enjoy your choice of sweet and savoury foods, freshly squeezed juice, beer, wine, gelati, wood-fired pizza or French patisserie.

  • LEGO Ninjago Training Camp (Fri 7 Apr – Sun 23 Apr) – Train through interactive and build challenge activities to help protect NINJAGO from its marauding enemies.
  • Legoland Melbourne (Fri 7 Apr – Sun 23 Apr) – There are 13 great family attractions in LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne to explore.
  • Captain Jack and the Caribbean Pirates (Sat 8 Apr – Sun 23 Apr) – Join the most crazy and colourful pirates of the Caribbean as they tell their life stories on the high seas, battling for booty from passing merchant ships and living the pirate life to the fullest.
  • BK Gym & Swim (Mon 3 Apr – Fri 21 Apr) – Enjoy gymnastics-based activities and games, gymnastics training, or an action packed Ninja Day!
  • Activate by Hardrock School Holiday Drop Off Programs (Tue 11 Apr – Mon 24 Apr) – enjoy hours of fun as your kids enjoy climbing activities, caving activities, arts, crafts and active games.
  • Mr Stink (Wed 12 Apr – Thu 13 Apr) – David Walliams’ award-winning book comes to life on stage for children 6-12… and their adults!
  • Briars by Night (Thu 13 Apr) – Briars by Night is a free, non-ticketed event, which includes live acoustic music, games, food trucks and a projection trail. 
  • Weaving Workshop for Families (Sat 15 Apr) – Families are invited to join us at Bunjil Place to work together to create a woven creation at this hands-on weaving workshop.
  • Party in the Park Cruden Farm (Sun 16 Apr) – mini sports, an obstacle course, face painting, animal farms and lots more.
Jurassic Creatures
  • The Fish That Wanted to Fly (Fri 21 Apr) – The Fish That Wanted to Fly is about having the courage to pursue something even if it seems likely you will never reach it.
  • School holidays at Bricks4Kidz (Tues 6th April) – LEGO®, Robotics and Coding workshops.
  • Kickstart Soccer (Tue 11 Apr – Wed 12 Apr & Mon 17 Apr – Wed 19 Apr) – focus is on skill development and game time.
  • Bunkasaurus By Bunk Puppets (Fri 21 Apr) – Bunk Puppets focus on DIY entertainment using simple materials and household items. The transformation of ordinary objects into live shadow puppet cartoons leaves the audience with an imaginative experience.
  • The Art Factory Malvern (Tue 11 Apr – Fri 21 April) – various activities and workshops.
  • National Institute Circus Arts (Tue 11 Apr – Fri 21 April) – juggling, tumbling, mini tramp, static trapeze, aerial ring, tissu, hula hoops, tight wire and more. Read my review.

  • Space Jam: Family Slam (Daily until 23 April) – Family Slam is a fun and active basketball play, video gaming and skills testing event experience for all ages coming to The Glen Shopping Centre
  • Jurassic Creatures (until 23 April) – a realistic animatronics exhibition like no other, will capture the imagination of children and parents alike with over 30 Dinosaurs and spectacular activities that immerse you in a prehistoric time.
  • Sonica Botanica: Stories and Sounds from the Gardens (Until 31 Dec 2023) – Weaving together interviews, field recordings and a musical score, this evocative listening experience responds to collectors’ passions, botanical knowledge, favourite memories, childhood impressions, historical anecdotes and cultural viewpoints
  • Free face painting Prahran Market (Thurdays) – face painter, Alysha, from Paint The Party.
  • Diamond Valley Railway (Sundays) – miniature railway with a playground next door. Diamond Valley Railway Review
  • Gumbuya World (Daily) – Make the most of Oasis Springs before it closes for the season, with eight epic water slides, the heated 300-metre-long Lazy River and The Break, Victoria’s most impressive wave pool. Plus theme park rides and wildlife trail. 

Autumn School Holidays Melbourne East

  • Kabloom (Sat 25 Mar – Tue 25 Apr) – Come and enjoy our flower fields bursting with a sea of colour with over a million flowers. A wonderful day out with all the family. Kabloom Review
  • School holiday: Learn to Long Stitch (Wed 12 Apr) – Learn the basic skills of following a pattern and threading a needle to create unique designs. You can even turn your creation into a keyring!
  • Wyreena School Holiday Program (Mon 17 Apr – Thu 20 Apr) – Enjoy a wonderful range of creative and fun activities. From drawing and painting reptiles to making your own ceramic bird, there's so much to do and learn.
  • School holiday: The art of cartooning (Mon 17 Apr) – Learn the basics of cartooning! You will learn to draw a simple caricature and bring it to life with facial expressions, body language and humour. Beginners are welcome. 
  • School holiday: Recycled Paper Notebooks (Tue 18 Apr) – Enjoy creating colourful and personalised notebooks using a mix of salvaged and recycled paper. This activity involves decorating, cutting, pasting and basic needlework to secure the book spine.
  • School holiday: Collage for kids (Wed 19 Apr) – Join this fun and colourful class to learn how to make a simple yet effective collage. You will learn about collage and how to make beautiful new artworks from old and recycled materials.

  • Bees at Abbotsford Convent (Sat 22 Apr – Tue 23 Apr) – Let your kids be immersed in the sounds, shapes and scents of the bee world, from their familiar buzz to honeycomb houses and vibrant pollen.
  • Asian Cooking with Parents and Kids (Sun 23 Apr) – If your child loves to eat and have fun, you want them enrolled in our kid cooking classes. More important than having fun, your child will begin to learn a fresh and healthy alternative to foods. We use all-natural and healthy ingredients in every dish.

  • SkyHigh Dandenongs Easter School Holidays Fun 2022 (Tues 11 April to Thu 20 April) – dine in at the SkyHigh bistro or maze cafe while your kids can enjoy the awesome fun on top of the mountain

  • Scienceworks (Sat 7 Apr – Sun 23 Apr) – Jump into Autumn Holiday fun at Scienceworks! Enjoy shows, activities and more.
  • BK Gym & Swim (Mon 3 Apr – Fri 21 Apr) – Enjoy gymnastics-based activities and games, gymnastics training, or an action packed Ninja Day!
  • Singing and Expression Workshop  (Mon 10 Apr – Fri 14 Apr) – Join singing teacher Rachael Kane from Connected Voice this April school holidays at the Clocktower for singing and expression workshops for children aged 6-12 years.
  • Westgate Vacation Care (Tue 11 Apr – Fri 21 Apr) – a range of activities that will help build your child's confidence, support their interests, explore their curiosity and encourage the development of a variety of skills that will allow your child to get the best start in life.
  • Junior Chocolatier Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie (Thu 13 Apr – Fri 21 Apr) – chocolate making workshop and free chocolate tastings. Read my review.
  • Magic Makers: School Holiday Workshop (Fri 14 Apr – Sat 15 Apr) – Experience demonstrations of different types of puppets and how they are brought to life and then enjoy a puppet show featuring some of Georgie Rose’s very own magical puppets.
  • School Holiday Workshops: Week Two (Tue 18 Apr – Thu 20 Apr) – The Extreme Arts program runs for three days. Every day kids rotate through three different workshops run by professional artists and assistant teachers.
  • Fish Club (Fri 20 Apr) – 2-hour interactive experience teaching kids about marine creatures, caring for the environment and an introduction to responsible fishing.
