  • โ€‹Myer Christmas Windows (Until 6 Jan) – Enchanting Australian families for 67 years, the Myer Christmas Windows are a Melbourne tradition. This year’s theme is Bluey!
  • โ€‹Christmas Carnival (Thu 14 Dec – Sun 24 Dec) – Enjoy festive thrills on the banks of the Birrarung at the Christmas Carnival. Entry is free. Tickets for each ride can be purchased at the ticket box on site.
  • โ€‹Baby Bounce State Library (Wednesdays) โ€“ Join in at the Children’s Quarter for a fun, interactive session designed for your little ones as they discover the joys of books, rhymes, & stories from Victorian & Australian authors.
  • โ€‹Meet Santa and Friends at the Docklands (Fri 1 Dec – Sat 23 Dec) – Roving entertainment including Santa, the spirited Christmas tree, and Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer will bring magic to the enchanting Docklands precinct during the much-anticipated City of Melbourneโ€™s Christmas Festival.

  • โ€‹Nature Explorers (Thu 14 Dec) – Our playgroup encourages hands-on, child-led learning through a range of nature-based activities, nature craft, exploration, bushwalking, play, storytelling and songs, and Connecting to Country.
  • โ€‹Mini Mega Model Museum (ongoing) โ€“ an exhibition featuring small and big things at Melbourne Museum. Mini Mega Model Museum review.
  • โ€‹Greensborough Plaza (Until 25 Dec) – A winter wonderland with festive trimmings and twinkly lights! With some paid and some free Christmas events, you can count on them to supply you with a whole bunch of festive Christmas fun waiting for you each day.
  • โ€‹Storytime Brunswick (Thursdays) – A fun, interactive event for children aged 3 to 5 years. These sessions include songs, rhymes and stories.
  • โ€‹Little Explorer Wednesdays โ€“ Each week your minis will explore their creativity through a variety of fun (and free!) kids’ craft activities.

  • โ€‹Bayside Christmas Carols in the Park (Tues 12 Dec) – Join in to celebrate with the whole community along with family and friends the holiday season. Pre-event activities begin at 5:30 pm.
  • โ€‹Kids Art Place (Tue 12 Dec) – We’ll have fun exploring pattern, shape, drawing, painting, craft, symbols and storytelling. Each week your child will create their own mini- masterpiece.
