Kitchen Workshop: Indulge In All You Can Eat Buffet At Crown Melbourne

Did you know that Crown Melbourne restaurants offer some of the finest dining options in the city? And its all-you-can-eat buffet at Kitchen Workshop is no exception.

Kitchen Workshop is a spacious and casual restaurant located in Crown Melbourne that offers an extensive all you can eat, self-serve buffet. If you're looking for a feast that won't break the bank, Kitchen Workshop is the place to go.

In this blog post, we dive into the details of what Kitchen Workshop offers for families. I took Lady AB to Kitchen Workshop during the school holidays when they had a buy 1 adult meal get 1 kids meal special offer, so we stuffed ourselves at lunch for $35 total!

Kitchen Workshop Crown Buffet

All you can eat buffets are a great family dining out experience because everyone can sample a broad range of dishes and flavours, offering more flexibility and variety than a traditional sit-down meal.

Kitchen Workshop is open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner and presents an affordable option for families who want to indulge in a buffet that everyone can enjoy.

You can enter the Crown all you can eat restaurant from Clarendon Street, without going through the casino. Otherwise, it’s an easy walk from the multi-level Crown carpark.

With a spacious dining area and plenty of space to park a pram or set up a high chair, you can enjoy your meal in comfort. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal.

Kitchen Workshop Crown Buffet Menu

The Crown Casino restaurant buffet provides a dining experience where you can choose from a vast selection of dishes that cater to various dietary requirements.

From hearty family-friendly dishes to an extensive selection of desserts, Kitchen Workshop’s culinary offerings will surely impress even the fussiest eaters. If nothing else, there are plentiful nuggets and hot chips!

The hot food is where most of the action is, and dishes take inspiration from around the world, including Asian, Italian, and Indian.

I suggest lining up there first as it’s the most popular area, then doubling back to the salad bar to build your own salads.

The hot food counter is an opportunity to explore new tastes or load up on all your favourite dishes such as pizza, pasta and a roast with all the trimmings.

My menu highlights include unlimited fresh prawns, crispy arancini and calamari and a huge selection of decadent desserts – including a self-serve ice cream machine with your choice of toppings!

There are also unlimited soft drinks or you can buy drinks from the wine list.

Before you go check out the sample Kitchen Workshop Buffet lunch menu and dinner menu on the website.

Kitchen Workshop Crown Prices

I think the prices at Kitchen Workshop are surprisingly affordable, especially for the quantity and variety of food you receive. While I wouldn’t say that the quality is fine dining, the family-style meals should suit a broad range of tastes.

As at 15 May 2023 the prices are:

Wednesday to Sunday Lunch

  • Adults – $39.90
  • Kids – $19.95

Wednesday & Thursday Dinner

  • Adults – $49.90
  • Kids – $24.95

Friday to Sunday Dinner

  • Adults – $59.90
  • Kids – $29.95

As the buffet at Crown Casino is very popular, I recommend always making a booking to ensure a smooth experience. Pre-booked tables can enter via a separate, speedier line and get seated more quickly. I also suggest booking for a time when the restaurant opens, if you can, to avoid long wait times.

When you’re booking note that Kitchen Workshop may have special offers for groups, seniors, and members of Crown Rewards. I recommend checking the Kitchen Workshop website to take advantage of any discounted rates and exclusive promotions. For instance, kids can currently eat free Wednesday to Friday lunch or dinner.

Overall, Kitchen Workshop is a fantastic destination if you want to meet up with family and friends to indulge in an all-you-can-eat buffet while enjoying a casual atmosphere.
