HOT: NGV Kids Summer Festival 2018, NGV International, Melbourne

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The NGV Kids Summer Festival 2018 is back with many FREE events for families from Monday 8 January to Sunday 14 January 2018 at the National Gallery Victoria on St Kilda Road (NGV International).

This year the festivalโ€™s activities are inspired by the massive NGV Triennial exhibition covering all three levels of the NGV, plus the human body and all the ways that everybody can play, move and make.

Baby 2.0’s favourite activities are ‘Everybody Draw Nonsense’ where you can create your own nonsense creature…

….’Everybody Play’ where families can play a board game with an activity/instruction booklet. Note the game is best played with 2+ people as it requires two teams, plus it helps a lot if at least one team member can read the instructions.

Other activities more suitable for little kids include making wearable art with NGV Triennial artist Hahan. He is also doing live drawing and the artwork is exhibited in the Great Hall.

Kids can also make their own stand-up ‘aye-aye’, an endangered furry animal.
