Brunswick Baths has a heated, 20 metre, five-lane lap and recreation pool for lap swimmers, water workout classes and swimming lessons. Sunshine Leisure Centre has indoor and outdoor heated 25 metre lap pools, 20 metre program pool with ramp entry, an indoor leisure pool, an outdoor splash pad and a spa and steam room.
Casual swim entry for an adult is $7.50, children are $5.60 and a family is $19.60.

50. East Keilor Leisure Centre, Keilor East
Let the kids splash around freely at the East Keilor Leisure Centre, at MOVE Moonee Valley.
The centre’s pool facilities include a 50 metre heated outdoor pool, 25-metre indoor lap pool, learn to swim pool, dedicated warm water program pool, spa, a steam and sauna, and an indoor water playground for young children.

51. Melton Waves Leisure Centre, Melton
Visit Melton Waves Leisure Centre and swim in the 25-metre indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool-spa, and toddlers pool. It’s the only place to find a wave pool in Melbourne’s west and rapid river feature.
There is also a 50 metre 8 lane outdoor pool and a 20 metre outdoor play pool.

52. Victoria University Pool, Footscray
VU’s Footscray Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre is located at Building L, Level 0, Footscray Park Campus. It’s normally very quiet and calm, with sweeping views of the Maribyrnong River.
It’s open to the public and you can visit the 25-metre heated swimming pool as well as other gym and teaching rooms.
VU Sport offers Learn to Swim classes for babies, children and adults as well as school holiday sports programs for school-aged children.

53. Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre, Keilor Downs
Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre is a state-of-the-art multi-million dollar unique health and wellbeing hub with awesome facilities such as an Olympic-sized pool, two massive water slides, an indoor pool playground for kids, a warm water pool, a learn-to-swim pool, an onsite creche and cafe. Outside there’s a skate park and fenced playground too.
