Brunswick Baths has a heated, 20 metre, five lane lap and recreation pool for lap swimmers, water workout classes and swimming lessons. The indoor water play pool has a waterslide and water cannons to entertain the kids and the beach entry is particularly good for introducing toddlers and young children to the water.
Brunswick Baths also has a 50-metre heated outdoor pool open year around and a kids splashpad that's turned on during the warmer months for certain hours (or on request if you ask a staff member nicely!).

Enjoy the 50 metre indoor swimming pool Richmond Recreation Centre offer all through the year. They also have a Learn to Swim pool, a toddler pool and a spa, sauna and steam room. They run swimming lessons and other aquatic classes.

Northcote Aquatic Centre boasts a heated indoor 25m lap and leisure pool is suitable for lap swimming all year round. The kids swimming pool features a beach entry and is suitable for young children and toddler play all year round.
Outdoors they have a 10 lane 50 metre outdoor swimming pool that is open to the public all year round. There is also a toddler play pool and 25 metre pool open from November until the end of March (weather permitting).

7. TRAC Thomastown, Thomastown
Thomastown Recreation & Aquatic Centre (TRAC) is home to brand new indoor pools including a 25m lap pool, Programs / Learn to Swim pool, hydrotherapy pool, and toddlers pool / baby pools.
The kids facilities include water tunes piano, wally the whale, shooting cannons a green frog slide and waterfalls. There is also an outdoor splash park that is operational during the summer months.

Splash Aqua Park & Leisure Centre has three indoor pool areas so there is something for everyone! The main pool is an Olympic sized pool available for water exercise, recreational play, lap swimming, aquatic group fitness classes and user group programs. It has eight lanes and an adjustable boom to facilitate two 25 metre pool areas. The warm water pool is for aquatic programs including exercise and rehabilitation. The leisure and Swim School pool is for swimming lessons and having fun in the water.

14. Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Albert Park
Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre MSAC pool has an outdoor 50m pool for casual lap swimming, as well as boasting indoor 50m competition pool, an indoor 25m lap pool, indoor multi purpose pool and hydrotherapy pool. There is also a wave pool and water slide that are very popular with kids.
MSAC swim school runs MSAC swimming lessons in line with Victorian school terms. MSAC swimming entry prices start at $5.80 for children, $8.50 for adults and $17.30 for a family.

16. Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC), Frankston
Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) has a heated 10 lane 50 metre indoor pool. This pool operates as a 25m/20 lane or 50m/10 lane pool at various times of the day. There is also a learn to swim pool, beach entry / wading pool, toddlers pool and one of the largest warm water exercise pools in Victoria (for 16yo and over).
If you're looking for indoor water parks, PARC doesn't disappoint. Water play facilities include a multi-level structure with slides for every age. Outdoors there's a 50 metre outdoor swimming pool is open to the public every day. The's also an outdoor splash park that opens when the forecast is above 26 degrees Celsius. It has tipping buckets, water fountains, slides and climbing equipment all housed under an ample shade structure. One of Melbourne's biggest water slides is also open when the temperature is warm enough (age and height restrictions apply).
