Hi Reader

Itโ€™s Amy here this week while Joyce is off enjoying some well-earned school holiday time with her family!

Weโ€™ve had a big milestone in our house lately โ€” my oldest has officially started school. I donโ€™t know how we got here so quickly, but wowโ€ฆ Term 1 has absolutely flown by.

Weโ€™re still finding our rhythm with early mornings, lunchboxes and the whole school routine, but it already feels like this new chapter is speeding along.

To celebrate making it through our first term (and maybe to catch our breath a little), weโ€™re packing up and heading off on a little family getaway to regional Victoria.

Weโ€™ll be spending nearly two weeks in Mallacoota โ€” and I have to admit, weโ€™ve never been before!

If youโ€™ve visited this beautiful part of the state, Iโ€™d love your tips. Favourite beaches? Easy walks with kids? Must-do stops along the way?

Send them my way โ€” Iโ€™m all ears.

Alright, letโ€™s get into whatโ€™s happening this weekโ€ฆ

P.S. While we’re talking family adventures – don’t sleep on free public transport across Victoria until April 30! We’ve got a guide to 10 great family day trips by train that’s worth a look before the month is out.
