School Holiday Workshop: Introduction to the Art of 3D Printing

Design, print, and paint your own 3D creations at this fun, hands-on one-day workshop at the National Communication Museum.
Students learn how 3D printers work, build core design skills using Tinkercad, and bring their creations to life by printing and painting their own models.
The workshop also introduces online maker communities like Thingiverse for exploring and remixing existing designs.
Designed for ages 10 to 16, no prior experience needed. The workshop runs on Friday 3 July from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Tickets are $80.
Museum entry included after the workshop. Bring lunch, a water bottle, and clothes suitable for painting.
