Furby Chorus and Friends

At Emporium Melbourne, a congregation of domestic robots including beloved Furbies and companions from Yukai Engineering gather to converse through synchronised movement as part of the Australian Dance Biennale.
Set within a sculptural world created by studio BOWL’s Ryohei Murakami and NCM, these soft, sweet, and peculiar friends hibernate in stillness before erupting unexpectedly to life, exploring the evolving relationship between humans and technology through movement, choreography, and sound.
On display from Wednesday 27 May to Sunday 21 June at Emporium Melbourne.
Emporium Melbourne is open Saturday to Wednesday 10am to 7pm, and Thursday to Friday 10am to 9pm.
Free entry.
