RISING: The Vinyl Factory – REVERB

Reverb is a hit multi-sensory exhibition presented by ACMI and RISING, taking audiences deep into the symbiosis between music, art, film, and culture.
Originally staged at 180 Studios in London, it features immersive works by artists including Stan Douglas, William Kentridge, Virgil Abloh, and Kahlil Joseph, diving into eras from early techno and house to Kingston’s dancehall scene, the late-80s Second Summer of Love, and beyond.
Explore a sculptural sound system, play with remixable vinyl loops, browse The Vinyl Factory’s archive of 100 pressings, and unwind in the acoustically optimised Listening Room.
On display at ACMI from Friday 22 May to Monday 31 August, open daily 11am to 7pm with last entry at 6pm. Saturday and Sunday use half-hourly timed entry.
Tickets from $13 to $25, with $10 entry after 5pm on 28-30 May.
