Be inspired by prehistoric times at Melbourne's biggest dinosaur playground!

You'll find Dinosaur Park at Stockland Grandview in Truganina, Victoria, within the shadows of nearby extinct volcano Mt Atkinson.

The Melbourne Dinosaur Park is accessible via road as well as walking and cycling paths to inspire Grandview Estates residents to move within the community.

The crowning glory at Dinosaur Park is the larger-than-life dinosaur head emerging from the ground.  It’s sturdily constructed for climbing and sitting on and there's a set of small toddler slides running down.

Starting from the head of the dinosaur runs the curve of the dinosaur's spine that hugs the perimeter of the playground and ends with the skeleton of the dinosaur tail!

Other dinosaur features in the park include a small fossil hunt, giant dinosaur footprints with huge claws that you land on at the base of each slide, dinosaur footprints in the concrete paths and a dinosaur-shaped springer.

There is a large climbing tower structure, with two enclosed slides of different heights and a bridge entrance from the elevated walking track.

You'll also find a bunch of swings, including baby swings and a basket swing, climbing structures, a double flying fox, a spinning disc and a dragonfly shaped seesaw.

The grassed area next to the park can be used to set up a picnic rug, toss a frisbee or kick a ball. There is also a picnic shelter and free BBQ facilities. On weekends you might even chance upon an ice cream truck!
