39 Things to Do in Melbourne with a Baby

From pram-friendly galleries to sensory classes and farm adventures โ€“ a curated guide for parents of babies and crawlers.

Getting out and about with a baby in Melbourne is more than possible โ€“ the city is genuinely wonderful for it. But finding activities that are actually suitable for babies, rather than designed for three-year-olds and just tolerating yours, is a different story.

This guide is built from years of hands-on reviews, first-hand visits, and tips from our wonderful reader community. We know which venues have change tables, which car parks fit a pram in the lift, and which cafes will actually make you feel welcome. That insider knowledge is baked into every recommendation here โ€“ so you can stop Googling and start going.
