Cool down in summer at the Wallan Water Park, otherwise known as the Community Bank Adventure Playground at Hadfield Park Wallan.
Unfortunately we pick a day to visit when the council are doing maintenance work on the splash park section!
Luckily the rest of the playground is pretty awesome too! We still enjoy our time at the playground, which means that it’s a winner for any time of year.
The all-abilities playground is dominated by a five-storey wooden climbing fort with various slides stretching out from it, including a very high tube slide.
For older kids, there are also two large nest swings, a bank of normal swings and two flying foxes, one with an accessible seat.

Younger kids will enjoy the spinning cup (though it does go super fast!), the multi-person see saw, musical elements under the tower, sheltered sandpit and the imaginative play with the tractor.
Hadfield Park Wallan has numerous picnic tables, sheltered BBQs and public toilets with change facilities so it’s the perfect destination for a day out – just check that the splash pad is open before you arrive if you’re planning water play!
