I book Dream Away Glamping Parties for a weekend of glamping in our lounge room to celebrate the end of 14 days of isolation at home! I choose the Happy Camper theme because the kids love the idea of camping/glamping and it’s a gender-neutral glamping themed party.
There are lots of other sleepover party themes available depending on your child/children’s interests, including Unicorn Magic, Parisian Chic, Shimmer and Sparkle, Magical Mermaids, Camp Delta Foxtrot, Sweet Dreams, Disney Descendants, Woodland Whimsy, Disco Party and Fortnite.
Each teepee slumber party kit includes a wooden teepee tent and fabric tent covering, a tray table, fairy lights and other decorations, a comfortable single foam mattress, a fitted sheet, snuggly blanket and decorative pillows. You need to supply your own pillow to sleep on and we use our own sleeping bags too.
Our two teepees tents take about 30 minutes to set up with two people. One person can set up just as easily, it just takes a bit more time as you have to make up each tipi at a time. Step by step instructions are provided and no tools are required. Batteries are already fitted into all of the electronic items.
The kids squeal with delight when we reveal their ‘campsite’! The details are so adorable, with the fairy lights entwining the tipis and the woodland-themed soft toys and cushions.
They are also thrilled to sleep somewhere other than their beds and spend the weekend playing, reading and even eating inside their party teepee!
And it is really is a glamping experience, because they get treated to a gourmet breakfast pack every morning from Motte Patisserie that I had the foresight to prebook for delivery!

Dream Away Glamping Parties‘ standard pricing includes delivery and set of the teepee party up within 25km of Newport.
There are different prices for DIY glamping tents. The Family Sleepover party hire represents excellent value. For $125, up to 5 members of the same household can have a slumber party in style with teepee hire and all the accessories. Otherwise, packages start at $50 for the first tipi tent and $20 for each extra tipi.
If you want to add something more to your tee pee party, there are glamping sleep eye masks, spa packages, pillowcase art activities and campfire settings ranging from $4 to $20. You can also elect to have specially arranged balloons delivered with your glamping party tents, with the price on quotation.

To heighten the camping experience, we choose to include the campfire kit ($15-$25), which is a battery-operated campfire with silk flames and log cushions. It provides extra ambience without any safety hazards!

Dream Away Glamping Parties will usually come and set up teepee parties for you, but at the moment that’s not possible. So they provide everything you need to set up your own kids glamping party – which really does add to the camping experience for us (without having to wrestle with tent poles and pegs)!
