For a bigger group planning on a picnic catch up, ordering the larger sized Picnic Box will make sure your gathering is delicious and trouble free! If your plan consist of 2 – 4 guests then try out the Small Picnic Box but if you need one for 4 – 6 guests, then the Large Picnic Box is the one you'll need. These boxes also include baguettes with ham, cheese & lettuce; pesto, pumpkin & feta for a more filling meal.

Each Box comes with bamboo plates & cutlery so just bring your own rug & drinks and you're ready to go.

Bahari is a traditional Greek-English restaurant in Richmond bringing people together to celebrate and feast with an extensive shared plate menu. 

Call them directly for a pick-and-mix picnic hamper filled with your choice of delicious shared grazing items. Hot or cold dishes are available with all of your Greek favourites on the list, and the option of adding a bottle of wine is always a winner.

You can borrow a picnic basket and purchase napkins, plates and cups if needed.

Looking for Breakfast Picnic Boxes? Then the Breaky Picnic Box from Brother Hen just might be what you're looking for. The box comes with drinks, toasties, mini bricher cups, pancakes, toasted banana bread, and veggie sticks with dip.

But If you're not looking for breakfast food, then try out their lunch picnic box that includes drinks, half size wraps or toasties a tray of chicken or fish and chips, toasted banana bread and cookie veggie sticks with dip to share; or their deluxe picnic box that consists of drinks, steamed baos, mini vietnamise salads, sweet potato fries, and nutella chocolate brownies.

All picnic boxes come in options good for two or four people with the options to choose your preferred drink, wrap, or toastie filling.

Brunetti Classico is an authentic Italian Pasticerria that began at Carlton in 1985 and has since become an iconic Melbourne cafe that supplies it's beloved customers with exceptional coffee, cakes, gelati, and other savoury delights.

For the picnic season, they created a lunch box for two where you can choose from the available panino, calzone, quiche, arancino with mixed sweets and 2 cold beverages you'd like to include in your box.

Delivery is available within 50km of Brunetti Carlton with flat rates beginning at $5. Orders can be placed online or over the phone by calling 03 7034 7066. They follow a delivery schedule which would be best to check out to help plan your orders ahead of time.

5. Earl Canteen

Earl Canteen provides fresh and convenient, locally sourced meals and delivers an easy and affordable picnic box for Melbournians.

The Spring Picnic Share Platter has you covered with a fresh and healthy selection of grazing for 2-4 people for $60. Delight over mini sandwiches, tartlets, fritters, local cheeses and cold meats. Plus choc brownie and berry friands for dessert.

You really can’t go wrong with a relaxing picnic in one of the city's most beautiful parks. Kere Kere is a small Melbourne coffee shop located within Fitzroy Gardens at the Visitors Centre. 

The very generously portioned Deluxe Picnic for Two ($75) has a variety of sandwiches, salad, a cheese box with white mould cheese from Yarra Valley Dairy, lavosh biscuits, muscatels and almonds, a bottle of homemade lemonade, chocolate brownie and choc top ice creams.

Your hamper includes a picnic blanket and bio-cutlery to ensure a hassle free afternoon.

Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance and can be picked up onsite anytime on the day you’ve selected.

If you prefer rice over bread at a picnic, Komeyui Japanese Restaurant in South Melbourne offers some enticing gourmet sushi and nigiri picnic platters.

The Komeyui for 2 has a combination of premium sushi and sashimi plus your choice of two beers (or soft drinks). And the Komeyui for 3, has a selection of nigiri and sushi rolls with 3 beers or soft drinks. 

Want some extra items like edamame or nori? You can add these on at checkout.

Oasis Bakery is a Melbourne institution, a destination cafe and delicatessen located in Murrumbeena and Fairfield. Their goods including grazing boxes delivered Melbourne wide, throughout regional Victoria and to some parts of ACT.

Rice Paper Scissors has created two picnic boxes with meat and vegan alternatives to celebrate the beginning of the spring season!

For the meat option it includes tea cured salmon, pomelo, coconut dressing, and prawn crackers, braised beef brisket banh mi with pickled veggies, house made paté, and sriracha mayo, Vietnamese slaw with fresh orange, peanuts, and herbs, and a Burmese tea leaf salad. While for the vegan box, You'll get pineapple ceviche, smoked coconut purée, and cassava crackers, lemongrass tofu banh mi with pickled veggies and vegan sriracha mayo, Vietnamese slaw with fresh orange, peanuts, and herbs, and a Burmese tea leaf salad.

Ordering looking for a picnic that serves up to five people? Check out the Assorted Picnic Platter from Tia Con that has options for a group of two or five. Both platters come with Spring Rolls., Satay Skewers, Rice paper rolls, Steamed Bao buns, and Mini banh mi sliders.

16. Ishizuka Bakeshop

based on the japanese art form of Kaiseki, Ishizuka Bakeshop offers a refined dining experience that prides it's self on the authentic flavours derived from fresh, seasonal produce for a prescise balance of taste and texture.

The Baskeshop offers a Picnic Bento prepared by their very own Chef Masahiko Yomoda who picked up inspiration for it from his Japanese upbringing, as well as his French and Japanese training.
