HOT: Imaginary Architecture, Artplay, Kensington Town Hall, 30-34 Bellair St, Kensington

Imaginary Architecture is a free temporary exhibition and cardboard play workshop by Lara Tumak in collaboration first developed with the children at Artplay.

Imaginary Architecture

A cardboard city is made with boxes and other recycled materials, with little peep holes on the side that reveal secret little worlds created by kids.

The work is taking over Kensington Town Hall 6-9 July while Artplay is being refurbished. Bring a box from home (an empty biscuit, cereal or teabag box for example) or grab one from on the spot and add your diorama to the sprawling city. Then pick up a torch and explore the imaginary city!
