THE LUME Melbourne Monet & Friends Alive
This October 2022, get ready for another immersive multisensory journey at THE LUME Melbourne for Monet & Friends Alive – a breathtaking experience that will showcase 19th-century Paris’ most influential and fascinating period through beautiful modern art. It promises to be one of the most unique ways to experience Monet Melbourne has ever seen.
Throughout this artistic exploration, discover the unique, revealing, inspiring and ground-breaking works of impressionist artists such as Monet, Cézanne, Renoir, Manet and many more.
In addition, the fully integrated multisensory experience will make guests feel as though these pieces of the world’s finest art have come to life through the use of curated tastes, aromas and a synchronised soundtrack which are designed to add new thrilling dimensions for a delightful and stimulating experience that will take guests on an immersive, 360-degree artistic adventure.
Also, just for this Monet & Friends Alive LUME exhibition Melbourne, the team over at THE LUME have added a life-sized bridge so that guests can feel as though they’ve stepped into a real-life recreation of Monet’s most famous painting, Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies (1899).
On top of this, THE LUME also invites guests to come and harness the artist within them at Monet’s Studio, where they will get to replicate the artist’s work through a recreation demonstration.
Other things to look forward to at THE LUME’s Monet & Friends Alive are indulging in small bites, light meals, share plates and indulgent desserts on offer at Café Lumiere – the gallery’s Parisian café which is designed to reflect the classic French café culture. Plus, as a modern interpretation of Claude Monet’s works, the gallery will also have a vibrant Waterlilies interactive area for guests to come and enjoy.
