Also, just for this Monet & Friends Alive LUME exhibition Melbourne, the team over at THE LUME have added a life-sized bridge so that guests can feel as though they’ve stepped into a real-life recreation of Monet’s most famous painting, Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies (1899).

On top of this, THE LUME also invites guests to come and harness the artist within them at Monet’s Studio, where they will get to replicate the artist’s work through a recreation demonstration.

Other things to look forward to at THE LUME’s Monet & Friends Alive are indulging in small bites, light meals, share plates and indulgent desserts on offer at Café Lumiere – the gallery’s Parisian café which is designed to reflect the classic French café culture. Plus, as a modern interpretation of Claude Monet’s works, the gallery will also have a vibrant Waterlilies interactive area for guests to come and enjoy.

Monet & Friends Alive at THE LUME Melbourne officially opens to the public on Wednesday, 26 October 2022 and will close on 4 June 2023. Presale for tickets will begin on Friday, 26 August 2022. Lastly, if you haven’t seen it yet, make sure to check out the vibrant Van Gogh Alive experience, which will be wrapping up on Sunday, 9 October 2022.
