Every year for a weekend in November the grounds of Como House host Paris in Provence. The setting becomes a beautiful French village with food, entertainment, workshops, games and a childrenโ€™s garden. Full review.

Almost French offers a Kindergarten program following the Australian and French kinder curriculums.

La Grande Rรฉcrรฉ Preschool offers a French-speaking preschool program for children aged 2 to 5 years based on the guidelines from the French Ministry of National Education.

La Petite Ecole Preschool offers a daily French language Kindergarten program for children aged 2 to 5 years. It also offers evening sessions for children aged 5-9.

Melbourne French Preschool offers a French language Preschool program for 3-4 year olds through the Ecole Franรงaise de Melbourne (EFM) and is based on the French National Education guidelines. It has two centres in Melbourne (Brookville and Renown).

Les Petits Ecolier offer French immersion classes for 2.5- 5 year olds.

Le Club Enfantย introduces children 2-5 years to the basics of the French language through dance, drama, reading and craft activities.

  1. French bilingual primary school

Camberwell Primary School is the only public school in Victoria that offers French as part of a bilingual program. The program provides students with the opportunity to learn curriculum content in and through both English and French and in a partial immersion setting.

The Melbourne French School (kinder to end of primary) is operated from a private section within Caulfield Junior College. 50% of all classes are taught in French (Mathematics and French) following the program of the French Ministry of Education and the other classes are taught in English following the Victorian Learning Standards (VELS).

Auburn High School offers the opportunity to follow a binational French-Victorian curriculum. 50% of the classes are taught in French (mathematics, history-geography, economics, sciences, French) and the other courses are taught in English (technology, arts, health, physical education and English).

Glen Eira College provides high school students with the opportunity to study French, History and Geography and also Mathematics as an option according to the French Education Curriculum, while being integrated within an Australian school.
