Seed Stories

Discover what it takes for a seed to grow into a thriving ecosystem in Seed Stories, a hands-on workshop connecting to the National Science Week theme Seeds of Science.
Families investigate soil as a living system, select native seeds, and plant something meaningful to take home, blending observation, science, and making with real-world context from the Forest Gallery and Our Wondrous Planet exhibition.
Designed for children aged 5 and over and their families.
This 45-minute workshop runs Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 1:00pm. Tickets $12 for children 16 and under, $10 for members.
