Lunar New Year in Boroondara

Celebrate Lunar New Year at Summer in the Park with traditional dance, evocative music, and spectacular Lion Dancers.

Boroondara community groups take centre stage with performances from Australian Vietnamese Association of Boroondara, Chinese Seniors Cultural Association, Eastern Senior Chinese Association, and Kew Home of Chinese Seniors Club, plus stunning dance from Jin Han Dance School.

The highlight? A double Lion Dance finale by JGK Fei Ying Dragon and Lion Dance Association, hosted by charismatic Yo Zi.
