Kids’ Flicks with Feelings

Flex your emotional muscles this spring with two thoughtful Studio Ghibli films exploring personal and otherworldly adventures led by female heroines.

During the spring school holidays, ACMI screens Whisper of the Heart and The Cat Returns, each session opening with a short curator-led introduction to key emotional intelligence concepts, followed by a take-home activity kit for curious minds.

Screenings run at Cinemas, Level 2, ACMI, Fed Square, ongoing dates. Tickets $14 full, $12 concession, $9 member, plus a $1 online booking fee (waived for members).

Children under 2 admitted free on a parent or guardian’s lap.
