Islamic Tessellation Workshop

Create your own ceramic tile inspired by the stunning tessellations found in mosques around the world in this hands-on workshop at the Islamic Museum of Australia, running from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Participants aged 7 and over learn to form air-dry clay into tiles and imprint geometric patterns drawn from Islamic art and architecture, choosing from Persian floral designs, Moroccan geometric styles and more.

No prior experience needed and all materials are provided. You’ll leave with a unique tile to take home. Tickets are $12.
