Gondwana VR

Discover the world’s oldest tropical rainforest in Gondwana VR, an immersive and interactive virtual reality experience exploring the Daintree Rainforest and its fragile future under climate change.
Each showing is unique and unrepeatable, with the rainforest degrading over time to artistically render climate data projections up to 2090, the only salve being audience engagement itself, the more time spent in Gondwana, the more resilient the forest becomes.
Developed by artists Emma Roberts and Ben Joseph Andrews, presented at Yarra Ranges Regional Museum as part of the 2026 Burrinja Climate Change Biennale.
Taking place on Sunday 1 November at 4:00pm.
