Geelong Wonder Children’s Festival turns the city into one giant playground for the September school holidays, with shows, hands-on activities and free fun for babies through pre-teens (ages 0–12).

The festival runs 14–24 September, but the standout is Big Wonder Weekend on 19–20 September, with ticketed shows and pop-up events, including Room on the Broom, Erth’s Dinosaurs and Wonder Beats, plus a free petting zoo (Beasties) in the Ryrie St foyers.

Geelong Arts Centre, 50 Little Malop Street, is the festival hub, with more events around the Little Malop Street precinct and beyond.
