Australian Heritage Festival | Archaeology Open Day: Come and Try

Join the National Trust and their qualified archaeologists for a hands-on archaeological experience at Como House, running from 10:30am to 3:30pm.

Working on a simulated colonial-era site, participants uncover artefacts using real tools and techniques, starting with a dig briefing and safety introduction before spending around an hour excavating. Those who prefer can try artefact analysis instead, examining objects to uncover what they reveal about past lives.

Suitable for all ages. Tickets are $35 for adults, $20 for children, and $88 for a family of two adults and two children.
