Aladdin comes to life in this classical ballet production by the Victorian State Ballet, featuring lush costumes, sweeping music and expressive choreography. The story follows Aladdin’s adventures in a tale of love, magic and self-discovery.
Created by Michelle Cassar de Sierra and Martin Sierra, the production is inspired by Carl Davis’ score and the story of Scheherazade. The appearance of the Genie of the Lamp and a cave of dancing jewels adds a magical moment to this visually rich performance.
