Day Out With Thomas: What to Expect

From the moment we arrive at the Queenscliff Station, the excitement is palpable. The iconic blue engine, Thomas, greets us with his familiar face and cheerful smile.

Nest, we see the kids’ eyes light up as they board the Troublesome Trucks for unlimited rides pulled by Thomas himself.

We also enjoy a 45-minute return train ride with one of Thomas’s friends, Percy (apparently it’s sometimes Henry).

During the ride, the charming countryside and shimmering waters of Port Phillip Bay create a scenic backdrop. Inside the carriages, the staff—dressed in authentic railway attire—add to the atmosphere with friendly service and entertaining stories.

Hot Chocolate and Nostalgia: A Parent’s Perspective

While the kids are busy enjoying the activities, parents can take a moment to appreciate the nostalgic charm of the event. The meticulously restored heritage trains and the station’s vintage décor transport you back in time.
