Bundoora Park Playspace 6

Bundoora Park Playspace is a fully-fenced and accessible playground for all abilities located in Bundoora Park, the largest green space in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

From the winding driveway leading to Bundoora Park Playspace you can actually spy two different and smaller playgrounds before you arrive at the main carpark for the Bundoora Park Visitors Centre and Cafe. So don’t get distracted!

It’s spread out over a large area, with water taps, picnic shelters and several barbecues integrated within the play area. The flooring is a mix of tan bark and soft fall and the vegetation provides natural cover as well as sun sails over the sandpit.

A lot of the play equipment references the urban farm, heritage village and local wildlife.. Highlights of the play equipment include:

There seems to be a water play area with a hand pump and some jets on the sand table but it was all turned off during our visit, I’m not sure whether temporarily or permanently.
