Ballam Park is double the fun!

The Eastern side wooden playground is a favourite with Frankston/Mornington Peninsula toddlers and babies, with an extensive network of ramps, climbing equipment and slides. The natural shade from the surrounding trees provides perfect picnic spots, as well as a sheltered picnic table and water taps.

On the Western side of the park the council has just upgraded the ageing equipment to transform the area into a fantastic skate park and adventure playground suitable for older children. It’s known as ‘Ballam Bumps Regional Playspace’ and won one of the prizes for best playspace in the 2018 Victorian Landscape Architecture Awards.
