This winter, SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium is launching a playful and educational collaboration with Nintendo, blending the magic of the hit game with real-world marine exploration. Whether you’re an Animal Crossing fan, a budding marine biologist, or simply looking for a fun and meaningful day out with the kids, this immersive event has something for everyone.
Animal Crossing™: New Horizons at SEA LIFE Melbourne
Meet Isabelle!
It wouldn’t be a true Animal Crossing adventure without a visit from one of the most beloved characters—Isabelle! She’s swapping the Resident Services desk for Melbourne’s underwater world and is ready to pose for a special photo with your family.
Isabelle Meet & Greet Schedule:
- Weekends (Outside School Holidays): 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm
- Weekdays (Outside School Holidays): 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm
- During School Holidays: 10am–3pm (hourly sessions)
Each session runs for approximately 25 minutes. Be sure to arrive early, as queues may close during peak times. Check the SEA LIFE website or speak to staff on the day for the most up-to-date schedule.
Join the Stamp Rally
Get ready to explore SEA LIFE Melbourne through a whole new lens with the Animal Crossing-themed stamp rally. As you make your way through the aquarium, you’ll meet characters like Aurora the penguin, Octavian the octopus, and Alfonso the alligator. Stop at each rally station to collect stamps and fun facts—it’s a brilliant way to keep kids engaged as they learn about their favourite marine animals.

Keep your eyes peeled! Life-size cutouts of fan favourites are hidden around every corner. See how many of your favourite Animal Crossing villagers you can find as you journey through the underwater world.
🕵🏻♂️ Find Gulliver
Poor Gulliver has drifted off course again! Somewhere in the aquarium, he’s washed up and in need of a little help. Kids will love the mission to spot this lovable, sleepy sailor bird in his latest misadventure.
