Discover 50 fascinating objects from five decades of the Australian Performing Arts Collection in ENCORE! 50 Objects. 50 Years. One Collection, celebrating 50 years of AMPA.

Highlights include Kylie Minogue’s gold hot pants from “Spinning Around,” Baz Luhrmann’s neon L’Amour sign, Midnight Oil drummer Rob Hirst’s drum kit, and a custom vest worn by Archie Roach, alongside costumes, instruments, scripts, and keepsakes spanning 170 years from icons including Hugh Jackman, Nick Cave, Dame Joan Sutherland, and more.

On display from 16 September 2026 to 9 May 2027 at the Australian Museum of Performing Arts, Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne. Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 7pm, plus Mondays and Tuesdays during school holidays and public holidays.

Tickets from $10 for children, family of four, BlakTix, up to $20 for adults.
