The Melbourne Festival of Puppetry returns for 2026, celebrating the art of puppetry with a full program of performances and events across the city.

Taking place on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation, the festival honours the living history of storytelling on Country.

Running from Tuesday 22 – Sunday 27 September 2026 across various venues.

Tickets go on sale 15 July 2026, with advance sales for the ACMI Film program available now.
