Galileo’s Sky: A Family Planetarium Adventure

Step into the Planetarium at Scienceworks for an engaging one-hour journey through the life and times of Galileo Galilei, discovering his groundbreaking observations of Jupiter’s moons, the phases of Venus, sunspots, and the Moon’s surface.

Enhanced with live commentary from a Scienceworks presenter, this special presentation brings the night sky to life with stories, historical insights, and immersive visualisations, followed by gelato, pop-up activities, and telescope viewing on the Arena, weather permitting.

Taking place on Thursday 20 August, doors open 6:00pm, with sessions at 6:30pm and 8:00pm.

Tickets from $18 for member children up to $35 for adults.
