Science On Show

Step into the heart of scientific discovery at Science on Show, Melbourne Museum’s annual celebration of National Science Week.

Meet the scientists, researchers, and collection experts behind the Museum, exploring hands-on displays, pop-up talks, and family-friendly activities, from ancient fossils to living species and mineral marvels, plus live quizzes, music, and storytime sessions at the central stage.

Young budding scientists can also join a special gardening workshop to plant their own native seedling.

Taking place on Saturday 22 August from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Adult tickets $18, senior $12, children 16 and under and members free.
