Performing in Australia for the first time in decades, Germany’s premier ballet company, The Stuttgart Ballet, brings Marcia Haydée’s The Sleeping Beauty exclusively to Melbourne by special invitation from The Australian Ballet.
This unique version is both breathtakingly beautiful and darkly dramatic, unfolding in a grand battle between the pure Lilac Fairy and the wicked Carabosse, brought to life with Jürgen Rose’s intricate designs and Tchaikovsky’s beloved score.
