What’s included in your ticket
Your admission covers a lot โ and itโs worth knowing exactly whatโs in the package before you budget for extras on the night.
Our highlights
My kids had never really played in proper snow before, so watching them experience the Snow Play Zone for the first time was just the best. There were tears when we had to leave โ and not from me. (Okay, maybe a little from me too.)
The lights trail is genuinely stunning โ and I say that as someone who had a three-year-old on their shoulders for most of it. Even with tired legs, I couldn’t stop looking around.
Included in entry
โข NEW: 45m Ice Toboggan (New for 2026): A four-lane high-speed toboggan ride โ the coolest new addition for the whole family.
โข Snow Play Zone: Victoriaโs biggest indoor snow experience with over 300 tonnes of real snow. Build snowmen, make snow angels, slide down the hill.
โข Snowball Throw Zone: A safe, custom-designed target wall for family snowball fights without any wet faces.
โข Unlimited Theme Park Rides: 10 rides all night long, including the brand new Drop Zone โ Victoriaโs tallest drop tower at 20m.
โข 2 Mini-Golf Courses: Both included in your entry โ a great slow-down activity for families with different energy levels.
โข 2.5km Lights Trail: Over 1,000 light installations and 3.3 million lights to wander through โ absolutely stunning after dark.
โข World-class Ice Sculpting: Live and displayed works from local artist Glenn Smith and US world champion Kevin Roscoe.
โข Ice Princess Meet & Greet: Step into a winter fairy tale. A guaranteed highlight for little ones โ worth timing your visit around this!

Available at extra cost
โข Enchanted Snow Salon (New for 2026): Little ones get a magical transformation into winter royalty. Plan ahead if this is on your list.
โข Marshmallow Roasting: Toasting marshmallows over open flames โ always a crowd-pleaser. Budget a little extra for this one.
โข Winter Treats: Hot specialty donuts, chocolate churros, and mulled wine for the grown-ups. Festival food pricing applies.

Winter Glow Ticket prices
Admission is priced by height, not age โ because ride access is also height-based. This means a tall four-year-old pays the same as an adult, so factor this in when budgeting for your group. Buy online for the best price, as gate prices are higher.
โข Under 90cm: FREE โ Collect a free ticket at the gate โ no online booking needed.
โข 90cm โ 119cm: From $32.50 per person (online) โ Access to rides suited to this height bracket.
โข 120cm and over: From $42 per person (online) โ Full ride access including the new Drop Zone.
Budget tip: For a family of two adults and two children over 90cm, youโre looking at around $150+ before food and extras. Add $3 per person for Flexible Ticket Protection โ worth it if your plans might shift due to illness or weather.
With young kids, I’m always mentally calculating whether an outing is going to be worth the effort of getting everyone out the door โ and Winter Glow absolutely is. We were there for hours and still felt like we hadn’t done everything.

What to wear and bring
Winter Glow is an outdoor (and partly undercover) evening event in the middle of winter. Getting the clothing right makes the difference between a magical night and a miserable one.
โข Warm coats for everyone
โข Beanies and scarves
โข Gloves (especially for the Snow Zone)
โข Warm socks and closed shoes
โข Layers for the kids
โข A bag for carrying extra layers
โข Portable phone charger
โข Card payment recommended (cash also accepted)
Snow Zone tip: The Snow Play Zone is seriously cold โ 300+ tonnes of real snow in an enclosed space! Gloves are essential, especially for little ones whoโll want to dig in. If your kids are prone to cold hands, pack a spare pair.

NEW for 2026: Enchanted Snow Salon
Brand new to Winter Glow this year, the Enchanted Snow Salon is the add-on experience that little royalty-in-waiting will absolutely love. Kids aged 3โ12 can be transformed into a magical winter princess with glitz, sparkle and plenty of glamour โ think the ultimate winter fairy tale makeover.
The Enchanted Snow Salon is available to pre-book alongside your Winter Glow tickets, so if this is on your child’s wishlist, it’s worth locking in a session when you purchase โ it’s the kind of experience that’s likely to fill up fast on busy nights.
Timing tip: If the Salon is the highlight of your visit, plan your evening around your session time โ it pairs beautifully with the Ice Princess Meet & Greet nearby.

Upgrade your night: Winter Igloos
If you really want to make your Winter Glow visit feel special, a private igloo hire is the way to do it. New for 2026, you can book your own cosy igloo for the evening โ fitted out with seating, a coffee table, cushions and throws โ and use it as your group’s warm, comfortable base while you enjoy everything the festival has to offer.
Each igloo accommodates up to 8 people, making it a great option for larger families, extended family groups, or a fun night out with friends and their kids. Instead of hunting for somewhere to sit and regroup between activities, you’ve got your own little winter retreat to come back to.
A few things to know:

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my ticket valid for the whole evening?
Yes โ your ticket covers entry for the full session on your chosen date. Once you’re in, you can enjoy everything at your own pace for the entire evening, from the lights trail and snow zone through to the last ride of the night. Tickets are date-specific, so they are not transferable to another night.
Are there passouts โ can I leave and come back?
This is worth checking directly with the park before your visit, as passout policies can vary by event. Call 03 5250 7200 or check the FAQ page on the website for the current policy. If you have young children who might need a warm-up break in the car, it’s good to know in advance.
Can I bring my own food?
You can bring your own food and drinks into Adventure Park, as long as it isn’t franchise food. Picnic-style foods are recommended. Note that no alcohol, glass or knives are permitted in the park. This is a handy money-saver for families โ packing snacks and a thermos of something warm is a great idea for a winter evening.
Does my Season Pass cover Winter Glow entry?
Winter Glow is a separate ticketed event and is generally not included in Adventure Park’s standard Season Pass. You’ll need to purchase a Winter Glow ticket regardless of whether you hold a Season Pass. Call 03 5250 7200 or check the website.
Is parking available on-site?
Yes, Adventure Park has on-site parking. On busy weekend and school holiday evenings it can fill up quickly, so arriving close to opening time is recommended.
Is Winter Glow suitable for very young children?
Absolutely โ children under 90cm enter free of charge, and the festival has plenty to delight little ones, from the Snow Play Zone and lights trail to the Ice Princess Meet & Greet. Just make sure they’re well rugged up, as it’s a winter evening event and the snow zone is genuinely cold.
