Family Day Workshop at The Substation

Join award-winning artist Katy B Plummer for a hands-on costume-making workshop at The Substation, inspired by the video installation Margaret and the Grey Mare. Children will craft costumes from kraft paper and tape, exploring themes of storytelling, curiosity, and creative expression.
No prior experience needed, just bring your imagination.
Designed for children aged six to 12. Parents and carers must attend alongside their child at no additional cost.
The workshop runs on Saturday 23 May from 11am to 12pm at The Substation, 1 Market Street, Newport. Tickets from $5 for Hobsons Bay locals, $10 per child, or $30 for a kids bundle of four.
Free for First Nations attendees.
