Kids’ Flicks with Feelings

Flex your emotional muscles these school holidays with a series of animated films from acclaimed Irish studio Cartoon Saloon, screening at ACMI from Monday 6 April to Saturday 18 April 2026.

Known for their distinct hand-drawn style and roots in Celtic mythology and Irish storytelling, Cartoon Saloon’s films guide young viewers through beautifully layered emotional landscapes.

Each session begins with a short curator-led introduction to emotional intelligence concepts, and activity kits are available to take home. Tickets are $5, or $4.50 for ACMI Members.
