Oshun

Oshun is a colourful story with dance, soul songs and live drumming that takes you into the kingdom of the Yoruba (West African) Orishas (gods). Inspired by a myth from the Yoruba oral tradition, it follows young Oshun as she pushes back against ridicule and self-doubt.

This is a captivating 60-minute one-woman show where Amarantha embodies 9 different Orisha characters, accompanied by drummer Adrian H. Hearn on traditional Yoruba bata drums.
