Whatโs the Footscray Flow Lab?
You’re invited to the Footscray Flow Lab on Saturday 31 January 2026!
In collaboration with SciencePlay Kids, we’re bringing science learning and water play fun to the heart of Footscray CBD.

What you can expect
๐ง Use recycled and reusable materials to design a method to help water flow from one location to another
๐ค ‘Rescue the rubber ducky’ by adding enough water to a cylinder for the duck to float!
๐ฟ Pour your cylinder into a watering can so you can help water the plants in Byron Plaza
โ๏ธ Enjoy a drink or snack at nearby eateries – Gong Cha, Chicken Joah, The Brew, Rudimentary, Two Men, D&K Seafood
๐ Sign up to the Tot Hot or Not and Scienceplay Kids newsletters to claim your pipette collection (max 4 pipettes per child) so you can continue the water engineering fun at home – plus find out more about upcoming events for families!

Yes, you can scan the QR code to enter the Footscray Flow Lab and claim your pipette collection on the day. But it will save you time if you pre-register!
Yes you’ll receive email reminders about the Footscray Flow Lab in the week leading up to the event.
The Footscray Flow Lab is open 10am-3pm but has limited capacity. If we are full up, we suggest you come back later after having a drink or snack at one of the nearby eateries.
