An interactive 0–5s exhibition linking five traditional Korean colours to spaces at home.

‘Obang’ 오방 is an interactive exhibition designed for children ages 0-5.

Inspired by the traditional Korean concept of Obang, which refers to five primary colours connected with five different spaces at home, you are invited to step inside a house inspired by Korean traditional culture.

Together, you and your child will experience the gentle rhythms of daily life – from cooking and washing to bathing and sleeping. This immersive and multi-sensory environment encourages little ones to explore their curiosity, engage with their surroundings, and share in a beautiful cultural experience.

Originally created as a theatrical performance, Obang has been reimagined into an interactive exhibition for ArtPlay, City of Melbourne
