SUMMARY:Family Day Workshop at The Substation
DESCRIPTION:Join award-winning artist Katy B Plummer for a hands-on costume-making workshop at The Substation\, inspired by the video installation Margaret and the Grey Mare. Children will craft costumes from kraft paper and tape\, exploring themes of storytelling\, curiosity\, and creative expression. \nNo prior experience needed\, just bring your imagination. \nDesigned for children aged six to 12. Parents and carers must attend alongside their child at no additional cost. \nThe workshop runs on Saturday 23 May from 11am to 12pm at The Substation\, 1 Market Street\, Newport. Tickets from $5 for Hobsons Bay locals\, $10 per child\, or $30 for a kids bundle of four. \nFree for First Nations attendees.
