DESCRIPTION:Give your child’s toy box a RESET at The Big Toy Swap\, a free family-focused event where you can pass on gently used toys\, books\, or games and discover something new in return. \nBring up to six clean items to receive tokens for pre-loved treasures\, teaching kids the value of reuse while reducing waste. \nKids can also join Nature Guardians\, an interactive sustainability session led by educator Kirsty Bishop-Fox. \nThe day is split into two age sessions: Big Kids (8-14) from 10:30am to 12pm\, and Little Kids (under 8) from 12:30pm to 2pm. \nTaking place on Wednesday 23 September at The Edge\, Fed Square. Free\, registration required.

DESCRIPTION:Presented as part of RESET – a free festival for grounding and growing. \nChildren and families are invited into a forest of tall cardboard trees and after exploring the space\, they add to this strange and delicate planet using only paper\, tape and their imaginations. Theatre and play merge in this magical place\, as creatures\, plants\, costumes\, characters\, stories and adventures spring to life. \nPaper Planet grows as more families visit\, and every session is truly unique as imaginations go wild. Children choose how they interact with the performers and the space; some find themselves absorbed in quiet making\, others prefer to play and explore. \nPaper Planet is child-led\, deeply involving and highly sensory\, and sure to delight the whole family. \nThis season of Paper Planet is presented by Fed Square and supported by the City of Melbourne.
