DESCRIPTION:Wearable Art at ArtPlay is a sustainability-focused workshop for children aged 9 to 13\, led by jeweller Emma Grace. Using colourful recycled plastics\, vintage jewellery and found objects\, participants design and make their own wearable pieces including accessories\, jewellery or even a jet pack. \nYou can even bring along a pair of pre-loved shoes to embellish! \nSessions run Thursday 16\, Friday 17 and Sunday 19 April from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. \nTickets are $15 per child with accompanying adults free. Bookings essential. \nNote that the Sunday session is designed for a child and parent or carer to work together. \nSuitable for ages 8 – 13.

Each brain is special and unique\, and everyone imagines their brain differently. Are you ready to experience A-Maze-ing Brain!? \nDeveloped by visual artist Louisa Bufardeci\, childhood dementia researchers Ya Hui Hung and Roshan Dhillon\, and advocate Deanna Carpino\, this project bridges art\, science and lived experience. It raises awareness of childhood dementia and empowers children to speak up for their well-being.
