Here is a round-up of the posts that the #TOTTribe are loving the most! All this information is now right here, at your fingertips.
1. Things to Do in Melbourne with Babies, Toddlers & Kids
Finding places appropriate for crawlers can be hit and miss. So this post provides a round-up of age-appropriate locations and activities with the youngest family members, all across Melbourne.
Both indoor and outdoor locations have been included, and you will find some best for cooler months and some for warmer days. You can also click through to my longer reviews of many of these places so you know what to expect when you get there.
2. Best Indoor Play Centres in Melbourne
Make the most of winter, or Melbourne’s sometimes unpredictable weather and stay indoors while with kids burn off excess energy! I have compiled a list of the best play centres that cater for just about every child right across Melbourne.
Again, I have done longer reviews for many of these play centres, which are all linked to this post. How many have you visited?
3. Best Harry Potter Experiences in Melbourne
For the Potterheads and Muggles alike, I have road-tested Melbourne’s Harry Potter experiences to provide you with all the information to choose one (or a bunch) just right for you.
Eating, shopping, accommodation, viewing and merchandise have all been covered so you can have the ultimate Harry Potter experience.
4. Funtopia Carrum Downs
Funtopia Carrum Downs is Australia’s biggest play centre!
You can choose to enter Playground World, Climbing World, or for the ultimate fun – both. Climbing World is designed for 4+ years, and features over 40 walls. Playground World has an area specifically designated for under 3s, and multiple zones for all ages, with a ball canon, climbing, disco corner and more.
5. Free Water Play in Melbourne and Regional Victoria
I’ve got playground choices for hot days covered! This post includes more than 50 free water play spaces across Melbourne and further afield in regional Victoria.
There are all sorts of water play options, from elaborate systems with dumping buckets and spray arches, to single pumps and sandpits. Water and sand are always a winning combination for some solo relaxing play or collaborating with friends.
6. Best Family Friendly Cafes & Restaurants in Melbourne CBD
Melbourne is arguably Australia’s dining capital and little gourmands shouldn’t have to miss out! Here is my list of the best child friendly cafes and restaurants in Melbourne CBD. That means these locations have high chairs, access for a pram and ideally a change table and play area.
For the most rewarding experience, I recommend dining before (or after) peak times when there are fewer people and shorter wait times for food.
