This month’s top blog posts have a been of a transport theme – from trains to planes…and more planes! Not to mention cafes, activities and other fun things to do with kids in Melbourne and beyond.

8.  Arrgh Me Hearties

Shiver me timbers there’s a pirate ship in Melbourne! (Well it’s not actually a pirate ship, but why spoil a good story with the truth!). Polly Woodside is docked up at South Wharf and on the first Sunday of every month they hold ‘Pirate Sundays’ which are packed with fun activities including pirate craft, tattoos, walking the plank and treasure hunts!

Pane Rustico is an artisan bakery and cafe in Moonee Ponds. The all day menu spans typical breakfast and lunch dishes, with a mostly Italian flavour. A family friendly place where you can eat, play and take away some delicious baked goods.
